Will there be a Playgroup Conference in 2025?
There will be no Playgroup Conference in 2025. In an effort to make the next conference event bigger and better than ever, we will continue planning during 2025. The next conference will therefore be held in March, 2026.

The Playgroup Conference is an event that brings together early childhood professionals, playgroup facilitators, volunteers, families, and sector leaders to explore the latest in play-based learning, community engagement, and inclusive practices.
When and where is the 2026 Playgroup Conference?
The 2026 Playgroup Conference will be held from 25th to 26th March 2026 at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre – South Wharf.
Who can attend the conference?
Anyone with an interest in early childhood development, playgroups, community programs, or family engagement. This includes educators, playgroup leaders, volunteers, policymakers, and parents.

Early bird tickets are now on sale. All general delegates can register HERE.

1-Day Conference Early Bird Rate: $245
(Standard 1-Day Rate: $330)
2-Day Conference Early Bird Rate: $455
(Standard 2-Day Rate: $630)
Early bird rates are available until 8 December 2025, or until the allocation is exhausted, whichever occurs first.

Yes, registration closes on 28th February 2026, or earlier if tickets sell out. We recommend booking early to secure your place. All general delegates can register HERE.

Yes, the venue is fully accessible. Please let us know your access needs during registration so we can best support your attendance.

We aim to make the conference as inclusive as possible. Auslan interpretation and other supports may be available upon request. Please indicate your needs when registering.
Is accommodation included in my ticket?
No, accommodation is not included. However, we will provide a list of recommended hotels and transport options on the conference website.
Is parking available at the venue?
Yes, parking is available. We recommend using public transport where possible.
